Struktural Equation Model (SEM) Training
PPE and P3Ei plan to hold a Structural Equation Model (SEM) training on December 15, 2018 at the Faculty of Economics, UII. SEM is a statistical tool used to complete multilevel models simultaneously which cannot be solved by linear regression equations. SEM can also be considered as a combination of regression analysis and factor analysis. SEM can be used to solve equation models with more than one dependent variable and also recursive influence. SEM is based on covariance analysis so that it gives a more accurate covariance matrix than linear regression analysis. Statistical programs that can be used to complete SEMs are Analysis Moment Structure (AMOS) or LISREL.
The training will be opened for 30 participants, for students (S2 & S3), lecturers, researchers, private / public employees and the general public who have the desire to improve their understanding of quantitative research methods. Training will be held at 08.00-16.00 at the Faculty of Economics, UII. This training will later be shared by Mr. Dr. Zainal Mustafa EQ MM who has been very competent in their field.
